1995 Washburn MG-122 Artist. Color Code is TPU for Transparent Purple. It features a solid mahogany body
and bookmatched quilted maple top. 4 Bolt, quartersawn maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Duncan '59
(neck) and Duncan Pearly Gates (bridge) pickups. Wilkinson VS-100 Bridge and Vintage nickel Gotoh
locking tuners. The maple top is about 3/8ths of an inch thick and the quilt is excellant in the light. It doesn't
look like much without a lot of light at an angle. But when the light catches it just so the top is stunning. I was
in a local music store and the owner said he bought it new but a kid scratched it so he put it in the case in the
back and forgot about it. When he showed me the top in the sunlight outside we started dealing. He also said
he ordered the VS color code which is Vintage Sunburst but got this instead. So it was new old stock when I
bought it. List in 1995 was $1500.00 I got it for much, much, less.
